En abril fuimos a Guernsey a visitar a mis "farmor" y "farfar".

In april we travelled to Guernsey to visit daddy's parents

Fuimos a un parque zoológico. Aquí los adultos comen mientras yo trabajo.

We went to the zoo.  The adults picnic'ed while I was busy working.

Mamá es un poco histérica. Pone semejante cara de espanto, y no sé porqué, ni que los lemures nos fueran a atacar.

Mummy is a bit hysterical. She look as if the lemurs are about to eat us.

Aquí encontramos unos seres muy, pero muy intrigantes...

This is where we discovered some very intriguing creatures....

Se dan cuenta? Parece ser un mini-gorila

Can you see it? It's a pygmy gorilla (approx 40 cm tall)

O tal vez no....

Or.....

Papá insistió en ponerse ese sombrero. Qué oso!

Dad insisted on wearing a very embarrassing hat

Descansando en el jardín

Relaxing in the garden

Por ahí ellos intentando darme manzana vieja

They tried fobbing me off with a ratty old apple

No, si yo si sé que es lo que es bueno...piedra fresquita y rica

But I chose to chew on a nice stone instead

A mi farmor le ayudé a organizar las papas y las zanahorias

I helped grandmama tidy up in the kitchen

Me subí las escaleras hasta el tercer piso unas cuantas veces. Aquí se me volvió a atravesar "farmor"

I raced up the stairs several times. Here is granny getting in the way again

Mi cara conquistadora

I can't remember who I'm flirting with here.

Papá y yo hizimos experimentos con los líquidos...

Daddy and I conducted experiments with fluids...

..y mamá me tormentó

...and mummy tortured me

Aquí en cambio me mima rico (estamos en el avión)

She does not torture me all the time, though

Mamá y yo pasamos largo rato en el jardín

We spend a lot of time in the garden

Yo le soy de gran ayuda

Sometimes I give her a hand

Ay, que rico el aire primaveral.....

Sometimes I just kick back and enjoy the garden

Yo como a mamá le ayudo mucho, aquí le ayudo a desocupar la máquina lavaplatos

I like helping mummy empty the washing up machine

Y a organizar el armario

And tidying up the cupboards

Así de lindo soy yo!

I am a good boy!

No sé porqué a mamá y papá les emociona que yo empuje estos ladrillos de un extremo a otro de la sala

For some strange reason, mummy and daddy encourage me to push these bricks

backwards and forwards across the living room carpet

Mmmmm, el espaguetti con salsita de carne es una delicia

Hmmm, spag-bol is great 

Después de comer hay que cepillarse los dientes

After dinner, I brush my teeth

Mamá me ayuda un poquito

Mummy helps a bit

Pero no crean que yo no sé cepillarmelos solito

But I can brush my own teeth as well
